We have made a few significant improvements to our iPhone and Android applications, which we wanted to share with you in a short post. You can read up on these in a lot more detail in our Help Centre.
Supporting motorcycles
We are now officially supporting motorcycles with both our applications. You can now go to your vehicle options in your app and select motorbike as your choice of vehicle. This selection will also optimise the app for your chosen type of vehicle.
Speeding by road type and magnitude
All android app users can now see speeding by road type and magnitude as a part of their two weekly average scores as well as for each trip. So our android app users will now be able to dig deeper to better understand the details of their speeding. This will make it easier for them to better understand where they need to take action to improve this.
The same features will also be shortly released for all iPhone users.
A new weekly digest for drivers
All Brightmile drivers in the next few days will also start receiving our new weekly driver digest. The weekly digest email will help drivers see how many business miles they have done in a week, how many of these were safe miles. They will also be able to see how many Brightmiles they have accumulated for the safe business miles they have done.
The weekly digest will also introduce a new way we will visualise how many Brightmiles have been earned on a trip. In the coming weeks, we will also be including this in our driver app as well.
